Week of Oct. 9-13

If you are 16 years old and wish to donate blood on the 25th, you MUST return your parent consent form to Mrs. Miller BEFORE THE DAY OF THE BLOOD DRIVE.  If you do not turn in your consent form early, you will not be scheduled for an appointment. Appointment passes will be passed out the morning of the blood drive.  

Parent Teacher Conferences tonight, Wednesday Oct. 11 and tomorrow Thursday Oct. 12. We love our paprents and want to see you! Please come meet your student's teachers to ask questions and find out more about NHS academics and what makes NHS a great place to go to school. See you there!

Fall Break is next week Oct. 16th-20th. Relax and enjoy your time off!

The weight room will not be open after school Wednesday 10/11 due to parent / teacher conferences

FCA event- Fields of Faithwill tak place Wednesday Oct 11 at 7:00 pm in Western High School's old gym. Come hear area high school students share thier faith! Jaimy Lalonde from Northwestern will be sharing.

Sock Drive: competition between F2F classes Oct 9-13th! Socks must be new and turned in by 7:45 on Friday Oct 13th. One new pair of socks = one point. A F2F class in each greade will win!

The blood drive is coming!  Mark your calendars for October 25th!  If you are 16 years or older and are interested in donating, members of National Honor Society will be coming to your Face2Face class Friday to recruit volunteers.  See Mrs. Miller or Emily Martin if you have questions.

Attention any girls and boys wishing to be a member of the 2017-18 Swimming & Diving Teams, there is a sign-up sheet in the athletic office.  Girls official practice will start October 23rd and Boys November 6th.  You MUST have a current physical on file in the athletic office BEFORE you can participate in any practices or open pool activity. There will be OPEN POOL  from 3-4:30 through FridaySee Coach Britten if you have questions

Honor Society is offering after-school tutoring again this year.  It will take place in the high school library from 2:45-3:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  (If no students come for help, our tutors leave at 3:00). Students must come with a specific need like needing help with math homework, learning vocabulary, etc. and be able to communicate that need with the tutor.
