The Board of School Trustees of Northwestern School Corporation will hold a private executive session on Thursday, November 14th, 2024 following the adjournment of the regular board meeting to discuss collective bargaining. The meeting will be held at Howard Elementary School Cafeteria located at 3526 N 300 E, Kokomo, In 46901.

The middle school spell bowl team competed at Western Wednesday November 6th bringing home 2nd place! Please join us in celebrating their accomplishment!

NMS paid our respects at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier today.


7th Grade football finished their season undefeated! The cheerleaders did an excellent job cheering them on as well.


N.M.S. students helping with the FFA Feed the Farmers program. Thank you for supporting our students.




8th grader Nolan Munoz helped organize a wear pink day at school to support those in our school family fighting breast cancer.


MS Tennis continues their great season by defeating McCulloch 5-0.


Our MS girls were first overall at the Maconaquah invite this afternoon with 5 girls in the top 25 runners! Annabelle Brewster was our top girl in 3rd place overall. Hunter Boxell finished 6th overall for the Boys team.

Congrats to our Junior FFA team led by Callie North for their 2nd overall finish this weekend. Hudson Bell and Allison Liggett tied for 2nd individual honors. Landon Gaines and RW Bryant performed notably well for their first competition.

Our Girls CC team finished 1st overall at the Oak Hill invitational among 20 teams and 1st overall at the Eastern Conditioner.


Congrats to the following N.M.S. students who will represent Northwestern this weekend in the Drum Corps International World Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium as part of the 2024 Indiana INPact Middle School Band.
